Super UNIQUE, this is a vintage Gruen Precision Autowind wristwatch style 742 and dated from 1951.
Powered by an original Gruen Precision self-winding movement, caliber 480, sub-second, unadjusted, Swiss made.
Cased in a 24.8x27.5mm rectangle case and fancy lug design.
This is an attractive automatic watch, it still has the original and stunning black dial with gold Arabic Numerals, minute track and gold matching hands. Also, the sub-second hand is at 6 o'clock. The dial is signed with "Gruen Precision" on top and "Autowind" on the bottom.
This wristwatch is a coming with a 19mm new-old-stock black alligator Genuine Leather two-piece strap and gold-toned buckle.
After 70 years, this watch is is a perfect collector's item, it is in good condition! Runs very well, keeps good time!
